Amazing chocolate has collided with fantastic creamy ice cream and together we have Cadbury Ice Cream Bars from Blue Bunny.
I was given the challenge to host a Cadbury High Tea party. This was one mission that I was quite eager to accept. Inviting over my family, girlfriends and neighbors is the perfect excuse to have a gathering. I was sent some pretty elaborate hats and a beautiful tea set to get started.
As you can image my girls were very excited and immediately started to plan the tea party. The tablecloth adorned the table, name cards were created, vegetables were scrubbed and outfits were picked out.
I was able to introduce my girls and their friends to tea sandwiches and tea cookies…and of course hot tea.
Putting on fancy clothes is fun, but being able to spend time with love ones is more important. By hosting something as simple as a tea party and introducing the new Cadbury Ice Cream bars we were able to invite elderly neighbors and show our love to them. We were able to create memories with family. Little girls learned manners and how to be young ladies.
At the end of our tea service the main attraction was presented. The amazing chocolate that I knew only came out at Easter time has now been enveloped around Blue Bunny ice cream. The hard part was deciding which flavor to try first.
Being snack sized bars it is okay to have more then one at a time…right? My favorite quickly became English Toffee. One comment all of my guests picked up on was that towards the end of the ice cream you didn’t have the wooden taste expected from ice cream on wooden sticks. We also liked the form of the wooden stick…it seemed to be ergonomically designed and easy to hold.
We decided since dad was kicked out of the house that he should be allowed on the taste test too. He loves them! They have become a great summer snack in the afternoon (and as I’m finding the sticks they also appear to be a favorite late night snack for my husband).
